LA’DERM Founder Sharon Ng has been featured by China Press as part of Distinguished Personalities of Northern Malaysia (《华耀北马》).

Sharon began working in the beauty industry in 1997. Her years on the front line allowed her to understand the real concerns of Asian skin living in Malaysia’s hot and humid tropical climate.
In 2002, she founded LA’DERM with a clear purpose: to develop professional skincare solutions for tropical Asian skin and to support the growth of beauty professionals.
The journey was never easy.
At a time when many consumers trusted international names more than local products, Sharon travelled across Malaysia and visited beauty salons one by one. She faced rejection, financial pressure and many difficult moments.
Each time she fell, she found the strength to stand again.
Twenty four years have passed. LA’DERM has grown alongside its team, beauty salon partners and customers who continued to believe in the brand.
